Week in Photos...

Monday night and sitting by the fire here in Orem, relaxing after a half-off supper of Sushi at Happy Sumo--so therapeutic!  For being an open winter, I have had a lot of fires between both places---as Ben would say, "energy sucking pig!" 

Great week last week.  Drove to Idaho on Wednesday evening and worked from Idahome on Thursday and Friday.  Very productive working there as I don't get interrupted so much.  Great to spend evenings with Dad and Mom and so grateful that Mom is doing better.  She's been able to eat more calories and gradually add things back to her diet without hurting her stomach.  Paula came Friday as Gordon and Boston were at the cabin with Scouts.  Fun to go walking with her.  (I'll forward her entry).  Sunday we had our own little Sunday School and Priesthood/Relief Society meetings, ate, took naps and then drove to Soda and out to Blackfoot River near the Nolan Ranch then back to Don's for games, songs and salad.

Dear Family...

Hi All, 

Sunday evening and just wrapping up a week (or starting it depending on where you think Sunday falls!).  Thank goodness tomorrow is a holiday.  Busy week! Great to spend the last week in Idaho with Dad and Mom and family up there. Kent & Mignon's new addition is coming up well.  They're getting a great new living room, a couple of bedrooms, a family room, and a new breezeway that will connect to a new two-car garage.  Should be a great addition! We celebrated Kent (and Dan and Andrew's birthday).  Attached is a shot of Joe and Kai trying to fill out dad's new pants. 

Back to work with our annual company meeting to close the year.  Here's a shot of our founder Mark. He bought this suit in company colors and agreed to wear it if the company met their sales number which they did. The company is in to making MTV videos from the likes of Lady Gaga, Beastie Boys and others and premiered them at the conference.  Pretty funny but I was only in one and made sure that there was a box over my head so no one could recognize me.  Sometimes trying to hang out with a bunch of 20 somethings making videos and doing Karaoke, as Frank says, makes me tired! 

A highlight of the week was breakfast Saturday with my good friend and old college roommate Brian Voigt. He was in town with his son and we had a great visit as it's been several years since we were able to catch up.  He asked about everyone in the family and remembered all of you.  Blown away that there are married nieces and nephews and even they have kids. Anyway, very fun to see him and catch up.  We both look a little chubby but it was just the breakfast at Magelby Fresh! 

Looking forward to the arrival of #50 grandchild in the next few days! Sounds like she started but then decided to hold off for a few days. 

Enjoy the humor...we all like bacon--especially as kids.

Thai night Saturday at 6-ish in Orem.  Come as you are-we'll just do a couple of big pots of curry, a soup and dessert.
