First, I think my big news is that I'm selling the house at 619 N. in Orem. I've agreed to it and paperwork is in progress--unless one of us backs out. It makes sense but pulling up some of my roots after 20 years causes one to rethink--multiple times. Several options I'm looking at for the next residence--a shop with a studio apartment in Riverton, another townhouse in Day Break, a condo here in Orem...and still looking. The snow last night laid over the ferns pretty good this morning.
I headed to Grace on Thursday night and worked from there on Friday. Beautiful day on Thursday but Friday morning, everything was blanketed in fresh snow! Dan, Jill and crew came Friday for their inaugural work day on their Idaho house--what a production!!! Dan was walking around muttering "paid too much, paid too much" but the views are fantastic. When they left, they had gutted all the flooring, cabinets and removed any of the drywall that appeared to have been wet--plus knocked out the all between the kitchen and the living room which makes it much more open. It's going to be nice!!! It was quite a team with Dan, Jill, Ricky, Zan, Hayley and her friend Taylor, Erin, David and Jordan.
I spent most of the day working on enclosing the breezeway at Dad & Mom's. It's kind of like art trying to craft something around two roof lines and yet keep it square--and I'm not a very good artist!!
Caught a few shots of Dad's new camper--pretty cool!!! Small but surprisingly spacious inside! He and Mom have been working on it to get it cleaned and propane connected.
Deer are down eating crab apples off the lawn--this is a little fawn that was there with his mom and a couple of her friends.
Several of us watched Boston play in the Declo game on the Idaho Sports site - for the state semi-finals, Delco blew them out 36-0! Sorry we weren't there in person. This next weekend is the state championship with Declo playing Firth - 3:00 pm Friday in the Mini-dome. It was hilarious to hear the announcer giving shout outs to long distance listeners like Jenny & George, Jessica in Texas, Steve, Anna and Francie in Indiana!
Love you all!!!
