Happy Birthday Pumpkin Paula Frank Forty Party!!!!

What a wonderful day! Don't mean to make those of you who couldn't make it feel bad but yesterday was really a picture perfect pumpkin celebration!

Friday night I went to a wedding reception and it was really a treat to see all the friends from my old ward and to drive through Orem.  By the time I got to Grace, it was 12:30 am and I had a great sleep on the sinking bed!  When I went up to Grandma and Grandpa's next morning, Grandpa was dressed and waiting ready to go! Days have been up and down so we were really glad that he felt up to attending.

The day was just beautiful with clear fall skies, hints of harvest yellow and autumn orange still scattered through the valleys and mountains.  As we pulled up the lane to the Webb house on the hill, Boston met us with a, "Welcome to the annual Pumpkin Party!" as he placed a yellow pansy in Grandma's hair.  Kids were riding bikes, playing basket ball, throwing footballs with fun anticipation of good food. Several vehicles headed to the river with miles of beach and low water line.

Early arrivers had biscuits and gravy, Lunch was pastas, salads, breads topped off with birthday cake and a five gallon bucket of BYU Creamery ice cream!

The big event (in addition to Paula's birthday) was Frankie's Fortieth! I had put together a video of pictures since he was a baby and the link is here:

PASSWORD is: birthday.

I wish in a way that each of you could have the experience of soaking in all of ones life pictures, to see them go from a tiny bundle of joy to being a father of joy.  We all love Frank so much and words are not found to express how much happiness, fun, joy and humor he has brought to all of our lives.

I didn't take a lot of pictures so everyone that did, feel free to "reply all" or send them to me and I'll distribute.

Dad, Mom and I had a great time and the drive home was just as beautiful as the day with the floating pink clouds, the pale turquoise sky and the dark mahoganies against the dried grasses.

Thanks to Paula and all the Webbs for hosting and thanks to everyone that was able to come.  Great to see all of the high school and college kids!

This last shot...I'll let Dan explain! I think a nice bottle cork in the top of his truck out to fix it!
