Webbs - See the latest from Boy George - modeling and actually standing up! Heard from Jeri that Jessica was flying to Utah for Thanksgiving and then heading to Idaho until after new years. Also heard from Cindy who heard from Bonnie that Clayton has an assigned date to return in like February. Paula & Gordon split duty Friday with Gordon going to Boston's Game and Paula coming to the party. I have hamburger that she brought for people in Utah county--call me!
Dan and Jill agreed to purchase the Mel Jones place in Bench! Now we'll be neighbors and excited to have them there. I think they will enjoy going home and having a place to fix up (and an escape for Armageddon!). I've heard motocross track, pavilion, new walls, etc... should be fun!
Just got off the phone with Frank--sounds like it's been quite a week! Kids have all been sick and had croup. Yesterday, Ryan wasn't breathing so they gave him nebulizer--still didn't help so took to Insta-care. They x-rayed and said his throat was sealed off so ambulanced him to McKay-Dee hospital and kept him there for several hours. Doing better today--Frank's been sick too.
The good news is Sophia is recovering well from eye surgery and ALSO getting baptized on Saturday (Nov 3rd). If you'd like to attend, it starts at 1:30 at the stake center (standard place). She's the only person being baptized so if you're planning to go, don't be late or you may miss it!
A great time Friday night at Timbermine and celebrating Mignon's 40 year birthday! Forty is a great birthday...chances are, you're not quite halfway through life and looking back on all you've been and done and then multiplying that by two gives you a lot to look forward to. 50...well, you know you're past half way! Here's a link to the video we made for those that didn't get to see it: http://youtu.be/FPnEDoWN6K8 Very nice of the Jorgenson's to spot for the dinner--sounds like between Ben, Don, Kent and anyone else that's worked for Carl, some promised dinners were collected.
My week has been good and enjoying the new office. Other highlights are that I have a new housemate! Grant Gordon and friends found a place in Salt Lake in anticipation of Dad and Mom coming for the winter. The night he said he had signed a contract, my friend Brian Voigt called and said his daughter Gillian needed to get out of a bad roommate situation until she gets married in December so she moved in. She's delightful and such a good and fun girl. Her brother Dallin came over and this week her fiance Bryson came for dinner--good people!!! Looking forward to Brian coming this week for a few days to help with the wedding plans.
I also picked up a new pair of hiking boots and tried them out yesterday on a hike--they don't make the hike any easier but my feet don't hurt as bad when I'm done!!! It was a beautiful day, nice hike and attached is a shot of Cascade Peak from an angle that I hadn't seen before.
A good Halloween week to all of you! This year, I'm hoping to be for Halloween what I was last year....Absent!
Love,
Peter
