Well, we had two wonderful weeks with Michael home only to send him off for........ 10 days. That spoinks! I told Michael no more of this 10 day stuff its making me batty. I guess it doesn't help that the furnace went out and we spent one night with the oven on warm with the door open. It kept the house in the high 50-60's, not bad. We also had the air ducts cleaned and furnace vacuumed. That should help keep it running smoothely.
Michael is working like a mad man with his contract being renewed at Sun Power for another 6 month project. He also signed a contract here in Utah to spear the project, get it up and running, and then hand it off. He's burning the candle at both ends for a while.
I took Cambria shopping Saturday to get supplies for a dress that she is designing for a project for her History of Creativity Class. We had alot of fun looking at material, discussing shades, textures as she designed and redesigned it in her head. Lots of creative juices flowing.
Kayla is working, studying, running track and trying to keep everything together. Timpview High School Basket Ball team took first in state yesterday and two of her good friends were on the team. She was very bummed because she had to stay home and work. (Couldn't get anyone to cover) We are grateful for her sense of reponsibility.
Paisley is taking Kung Fu on Saturdays and is really enjoying it. Her teacher is doing some amazing things with her and we are very grateful.
Alyssa is patiently waiting for the snow to melt off so she can start looking for signs of spring. She is very much a nature hound.
Andrew is all boy, and some. Tonight, he and I built a train track and played with the crane and barge in his set. It's been a long time since I've made sounds for heavy equipment. Yesterday, I purchased a new belt and shoes for hime to wear to church. He didn't want to wear them until we convinced him the belt was a snake which held the cloud down (his shirt). His shoes, hedgehogs, were friends of the snake and wanted to go to church or they would feel left out. Well, it worked and we got him out the door.
Hope all is well with you.
Love, Virginia
