Last night Kendrick and Megan's chickens layed their first eggs on a full moon. Megan took this as an omen that maybe the baby was ready to come. Kendrick and Megan headed to the hospital at midnight and little Jennie Lou was born at 3:21 am this morning. Megan did well and so did Kendrick ( I personally think his head is swimming). I as a new grandmother, I'm am doing fine. When I brought up her little picture on my phone, surprisingly I felt like crying...and so did Gordon out of gratitude and amazement.
She is named after her great grandmother in Inkom.
She weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. with light hair.

PS We helped Anna move yesterday from her condo in the Avenues to a little home in the Highland area. It will be a big change for them but they are close to some of Steve's sisters. They want you to come and visit when you can. She has two weeks left before she is due.
