Peter's Week

I'll be brief so I can get to bed! Great week! Can you believe this weather?  So every day (especially on the weekend), I'm watching for wind or even a tiny breeze to go try out the sailboat and NOTHING! Oh well, that makes for good flying which I did Friday night.  We held an all day offsite meeting at my house (got a lot done) and then I bolted to the airport.  Thought about flying to Idaho but it was too late so just flew to Nephi and did some touch-n-goes.  There was a clattering sound developing as I was flying back towards Provo.  Didn't sound internal to engine and when I opened it up on Saturday, found that one of the new springs that was put on during the annual had lost a bolt and it was flapping against the muffler.  Fired it up and it's good as new.  Anyway, the flight was good.

Wednesday, my friend Scott invited me an a couple of other guys from the ward to a Real Salt Lake soccer game.  Great game to go to for the first time! They were playing a world league team (Toronto) and they won 4 to 1 so there was actually some scoring.  The weather was perfect and it was a beautiful night, beautiful stadium and great seats.  A player kicked a powerful kick and the ball went off the field and right into the stands, right into Derek's arms who was standing next to me...and he dropped it!  Everyone around us was saying, "use your head!" They wanted him to head butt it like the players do.  Pretty funny.   Leaving the stadium, I was parked right next to a brand new BMW M3 and we raced each other out to the freeway...sort of. Great night.

Saturday, worked on the yard and house.  Touch up stained and resealed the back patio cement (like the picture two years ago!) and then assembled my new composter (Costco).  Will probably take it to the farm but it looks like some sort of bomb!

Today was Kathe Homer's farewell (she's going to Nauvoo) and I raced from Priesthood to hear her (and hold Ryan and Andrew) then back then back to her house and then back to the clerk's office.  She gave a great talk and will be a grate missionary and a wonderful blessing to her family while she is gone! We extended about 50 callings today in the BYU ward and I got them all recorded and a new directory out so feel like I accomplished something.  Now just need nap to make Sunday complete but it's already after 11 p.m. so maybe next week!

Love you all!
Peter
