Peter's Week

Fairly eventful week on a number of fronts.  Had a great day at work on Thursday as Mark and I flew to northern California and spent a day talking to potential customers Cisco, Ebay and Apple.  The highlight was Apple as the meeting went well and then afterwards, one of the Apple employees offered to take us on an extensive tour of Apple's history through Cupertino including a stop in front of the house that Steve Jobs grew up in.  Really was amazing to see what Apple came from to what it is today.  We had our pictures taken on the stage that Steve Jobs uses to announce new Apple products to the world--I'll put that next to my shot of standing at the podium of the White House press room! 

Drove home to Idaho Friday after work and took a new tiller that I got for the back of my tractor. Spent the morning tilling up the horse pasture, some garden areas and then mowing lawns.  Sure was beautiful up there! Great to spend some time with Dad and Mom and in the afternoon, Dad and I took his little truck and drove out to the Blackfoot Reservoir.  Absolutely beautiful day with blue sky, green, sage brush, cows and calves grazing and the water level at full.  We found a place that Dad had never been before and decided that it would be a grand campsite with grass area and beach.  A bald eagle was circling overhead and pelicans dropping out of the sky.  

Stopped by the Ben Clegg residence on the way home to inspect for wedding readiness...lookin good!!! See the shot of Tanna and a light post that Ben made. The grounds were mowed, gardens all manicured and everything is getting in order for the big event this next weekend.  Megan rode back with me this morning and met up with Alex--they were pretty excited to see each other.  

We're also excited to see Spencer this Tuesday!  9:30 am.  Great to hear about Jamie's Adventures in Babysitting and waiting for the next installment. Just got off the phone with Lisa Brown (Clegg) and they had Jessica and Clayton over for dinner today.  The Philip Clegg's are getting ready for the 50th Anniversary party on August 5th for anyone in the area that would like to attend. 

David and Jill spent the week in Idaho (I just missed them) and Jill burned the big pile of brush that I had collected (Thanks!!).  I heard that Kai went for a ride.... Apparently he and Joe were playing with the garage doors down at Whisky Creek, hanging on while they raised and the dropping off only Kai forgot to drop and rode it all the way up! Fortunately, he was strong enough to hang on until it came back down but it about gave his dad a heart attack. Erin joined Hayley at Redfish, working in housekeeping.  Hayley got promoted to working int the store.  Me and Dan need to fly up there and see them! 

Stopped by to see the Frank Cleggs on Friday.  The good witch was practicing her flying but got to see the munchkins and looking forward to catching the play this weekend.  I'm probably going to shoot for Thursday night to see it, then wedding on Friday and Idaho through Monday the 4th.
