It's been a little bleak hearing from us lately and so I 'm bringing you up to date. Last weekend Michael was here and we took full advantage of it. Friday he had meetings and an interview, Saturday we took Andrew up to Heber to see Thomas the Train, Sunday we had dinner guests, Degan an Danielle Kettles from ASU, Monday we braved the weather and went to the Salt Lake Cemeteries to distribute flowers to the Hunter/Greene side of the family. It is a great tradition and we love spending a little time all together as a family. We stopped in Highland and had lunch with Jack, Merrily and crew. Michael flew out again Tuesday morning and the rest of us proceeded to wind down the end of school year, which seems allot of nothing by what the kids said about their classes. Paisley brought home an outstanding certificate from her teacher for citizenship to her community and Alyssa brought a certificate home for most creative in her class. Last Saturday while Andrew was napping I took Alyssa and Paisley swimming at Orem Rec, we had a great time. Cami and Kayla were out of school on Wed., Paisley Thurs. and Alyssa on Friday. The older girls spent time going to year end parties. This always seems to be a difficult adjustment for the first week of summer, realigning boundaries, expectations and schedules. We're getting it worked out though. Cami attended an all day marching band clinic yesterday in American Fork and ran into Wyatt. Kayla threw water party yesterday with friends and it turned out to be a big success. Tomorrow, Summer Marching Band starts a 7:30 am so the older girls aren't getting much of a break. Cami is one of the secretaries for the band. I think this should be a busy fun year for her. Friday, Kayla and I attended Kellie's graduation lunch and had a nice time visiting with everyone. Pete came over for dinner tonight and we ate out on the patio. We sure appreciate all that he does for us and having him so close. We had all our weedy flower beds pulled out and replaced with tan bark. It feels good to get some of these fix-up jobs done. A couple of weeks ago Amy and family came and helped us paint the exterior trim of the house. It was a paint party!!!! We'll send some pictures when we get the outside of the house ship shape. Congratulations to Kellie, Zan and Spencer on graduating. It totally amazes me that these kids are all grown up!!!!
