Since it was a holiday I only worked half day and had time to run to the airport after work. Magical out there tonight with the sunset (finally sun!), clouds with a storm to the north and the quiet except for one plane in the pattern. The plane popped right off but I shut it down to take off the tie downs as I hadn't planned to fly but then wouldn't start as the battery was too low. So I buttoned it up and brought the battery home to charge. But, going out there was a recharge for me...such a beautiful evening!
