Hey Everyone,
Executive summary for the ADD afflicted (or blessed)
Wyatt Priest
Lindy Solo in church
Megan- Bear Lake, work for summer
St. George spring break(sat by pool)
Wyatt 33 on ACT
Brooklyn Gerbils for birthday
Just reporting in after a long absence. It has been a beautiful Sunday here in Hyde Park. My first week not sitting on the stand and it was nice. Had my little girls sitting by me to keep me awake. Wyatt spoke and Lindy did a singing solo in Sacrament meeting. They both did great. We ordained Wyatt a priest after the block and he picked up his Duty to God Certficate. It is almost 10:00 and Janet is still at meetings. The kids are all in bed except for Megan who has to write a play before tomorrow (She has spring fever or senioritis, what ever that is). She has a job at the Bear Lake pizza for the summer and will be staying with her Grandpa Burr. She has done great in picking up some scholarships is already for BYU. She said she is excited to live in Provo where she will finally be by family.
It was great to see Steve and Shannon and their family in St. George over spring break. We sat by the pool and talked for an hour or so why the kids swam. That was pretty much what we did the whole vacation. They had just opened this pool in this development and I think we were the only ones with a key, so we had it to ourselves.
Wyatt scored 33 on his ACT test which is great for his first time. It almost means more than their grades when is comes to getting scholarships. We worked on the old truck yesterday installing a radio for him. Janet was afraid someone would steal it but after we finished using hot glue to install it, I think it is pretty safe.
Brooklyn picked up a couple of gerbils for her birthday and they have already escaped a few times. My bets are on two week life expectancy but since she has no one to hand them down to when she gets tired of them, maybe Janet will adopt them, which means they could last for awhile.
Miss you all and hope to see you soon.
