This is a sample of the way I eat when Jessica cooks!!!
A wonderful Easter to all of you! It has really been a very nice day and such a beautiful time of year to think about how marvelous a thing the resurrection is. I pulled out my Israel pictures and looked through them again and it was a nice reflection on that empty tomb. We had a great program with the choir singing several challenging and beautiful songs and I really enjoyed being part of it. I have this thought in my head about how that music helps us understand what it's like to "be one" that I need to get down in an article somewhere. Home from church and took a nice three hour nap! The nicest part of the week sometimes. Then to friends for dinner and home as Kent, Mignon and the kids made a pit stop on their way from Blanding. The house echos with footsteps, laughter and sounds of light sabers and Tonka trucks... then goes silent as they head back out on the road.
I've had a great weekend with company. Thursday night the Soda Cleggs arrived. Great to have them come visit as it has been quite some time since they were here last. Little Macie is a doll and will finally let me hold her--she was so cute with her little pony tails. Hopefully, they'll write on their own but they went to the Sand Dunes on Friday (Red Neck Nirvana) and had a picnic. Friday night, Anna and Steve were in town and all of use went to the Bombay House for a feast of Indian food. Wow is it good! Kurma (coconut gravey-like with meat), Saag (creamed spinach with meat), Masala (spicy sauces) and my favorite, Vindaloo - - plus all of the flat bread called Naan. We went away very full and satisfied...only to meet the Hunters back at the house for French Silk (chocolate cream) pie and BYU ice cream. Can't beat that!
Saturday, I worked on the airplane some more. Arellijo and his buddies came and ran the power washer...it's a messy job but we're making progress and hopefully will get it knocked out. I was there from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and today am pretty stiff from all the manual labor... gotta do something to change that! At work, we're looking at merging with a company in the UK so I am going to be extremely busy over the next month or two helping get the information for both companies in the same format and together. I have a great office window that looks right out at Timpanogos and am enjoying watching the snow slides in the warm afternoons. Some of them are pretty spectacular!
We've also been putting Dad's new Trike to some good use. I rode it up to Bridal Veil Falls and back. Pretty fun! Got a lot of looks and some thumbs up signs! Jessica's ridden it, Grant, Paisley as well as several adults. I really think they will catch on.
Well, hope you all have a wonderful week. I understand Jessica is speaking in our ward here in church next weekend if anyone wants to come hear her. Sacrament starts at 9:30 a.m.
Love,
Peter
