BYU Hawaii

WOW! It's definitely been an adventure...even the first week. I arrived on campus only to find out on-campus housing was completely full. I stayed off campus for a couple nights, then moved into the Hale 4 T.V. lounge until drop-outs move out of their on-campus rooms. Just before I went to bed, the R.A. came in and told me they needed the room for a kid who supposedly has tuberculosis. So I moved into the Hale 6 T.V. lounge! It's a new experience living in a room that's public access for 15 hours a day. Hopefully in a couple days they'll have found me a room.
Oh, hey, did I mention I was only signed up for 9 credits when I arrived in Laie? Haha on top of the housing I had to figure out what classes to sign up for and how to sign up for them. No worries...this is the Aloha State. Saturday night all the worries started to fade, and I realized how blessed I am to be where I am. This is an incredible place with unbelievable natural and spiritual surroundings. I would attach pictures but I still haven't loaded any to my computer. Check facebook in a couple weeks maybe? (That's not such a surety either since my facebook time is now spent at the beach...heh heh.)
