Peter's Week

Well...a good week all in all.  Work has been good as I have been working on a project that will helpfully let everyone have a view into what's going on, who's working on what and when it will be delivered. Most are very positive about it and I've made progress so that is a good feeling.

Great having Jessica here.  We have been eating good as she fixes dinner every night and we have good left overs.  This weekend, she has been trying out her new birthday present as she made a skirt with the new sewing machine that she got for her birthday.  It really looks nice and she wore it to church today.  Church was great! We had stake conference and it was a real treat. We had Elder Perry which was the first time that an apostle has been to our stake in 18 years.  Our stake president had asked us to read his talks, go to the temple and fast in preparation for his visit.  I wasn't too excited about doing all that but did.  As I walked into the evening session, I was helping sister Knighton find a place up front and one of the ushers asked me to sit on the end of the front row--sort of as a secret service guy.  I ended up sitting right next to Sister Perry through the whole meeting and visited with her for a minute after.  It was great conference with talks on the temple (glad I went).  Funny story there but I'll have to tell it in person.

Anyway, good Sunday with visits by Amy and girls and now Anna and Steve are here.  We just got the Web camera set up for the Webbs with mic working so we're in visual communication now.

Cheers to all!
Peter
