Dallas/Jacksonville

Hi everyone;

 

Been awhile since we contributed but just had to post these pictures.  This weekend we flew to Dallas to visit Brandon/Ashley/Talmage.  What a blast to be grandparents!!  I highly recommend it to anyone.  Talmage is a live-wire.  Very active and fun to hang with.  Brandon was emailing, taking calls, working on his laptop--all the things that responsible working people do.  It was fun to watch;-)  We took a tour of Cowboys new stadium.  It was Ginormous!  And we also got a rare tour of the Dallas Cheerleaders locker room.  They need some visiting teachers--of course, but from the bigger-than-life size pictures posted above each of their lockers it appeared they all have big, er, uh self esteem. 

 

Shannon and I then flew to Jacksonville after some weather delays at Dallas.  What a beautiful city.  We stayed at the Hyatt Regency downtown on the waterfront.  Yesterday we took a brief trip to Jaxx Beach about 14 miles east of here. The beaches were very clean and water was warm.   I drove out to one of the wards to catch sacrament meeting while Shannon attended her conference.   We missed football games on Saturday but it sounds like Jordan's team won and Tyler's lost to Morgan.  Tyler and another player had the flu so he missed most of the game standing on the sidelines.  That's all for now.
