Hunting Around.....

It's been a while since we've written, so here is a little bit of info.  Michael is here for the Labor Day weekend.  Yesterday we went up  Provo Canyon to coast down on bicycles with Andrew, Paisley and Alyssa.  Andrew is on training wheels.  We went from Upper Falls, all the way to the mouth of the canyon.  It really isn't that far, but when you are trailing Andrew who stops every 20 yards to look at something, it took 3 hours (with a small break).  He was pretty tired by the end and would put his little head down on the handle bars and pedal just watching the road below him. I felt like a mean parent,so I  figured out how to hold onto my bike and his at the same time so he didn't have to pedal so much.  It totally reminded me of when Dad used to take us hiking on Saturday to wear us out so we would sit still in church. And by the way, Andrew was very well behaved in church today.
Cami has started BYU and seems to be settling in to dorm life.  She enjoys seeing Megan and Josh around campus.  She came for dinner today with her roommate Kristen Foote.  They both looked tired but we had a very enjoyable dinner and visit.   I wanted share a little video http://photo.byu.edu/video.php?cat1=Slide%20Shows&cat2=General&cat3=2009&cat4=First%20Day%20of%20Class of Cami's biology class. Her teacher, Riley Nelson, is also our 1st counselor in our ward bishopric.  If you watch real close she is sitting on the front row in one of the clips.
Kayla worked as med tec for the football game this week and attended Timpview's game with Alta.  She is did taping and worked as a medical assistant before, during, and after the game.  She just finished making a dress she wore to church today and is making a similar one for Homecoming.  She is busy with school, marching band and track.
Paisley started as a Freshman after spending a week on her back with a virus.  She missed the first three days of school but has made it up and is adapting to High School.  She is taking Japanese and loves it.  She rides her bike home everyday and has made some new friends.
Alyssa is in 6th grade and attended the Mt. Timpanogas storytelling festival with her class.  She got a new bike and rides it to school.  This week she started in a little theater group that practices after school.  She also found a barnacle fossil up Provo Canyon and you'd think she had discovered a gold mine.
Mindy is great.  I took her to the vet to get shots and is all caught up.  A mountain lion was spotted last night in the neighborhood, so they told us to keep a close eye on our pets.
Well that is a little about everyone.
