Everyone;
This is what happens when the digital camera stays charged and within reach--more pictures from Steven and Shannon.
Thursday afternoon we decided to blow off friday football practices and go to Idaho for a quick 24 hour trip. It was a blast. First the excitement of entering Franklin Idaho and see the the "Welcome to Idaho" sign. It always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Then we stayed up late and talked to Grandpa and Grandma Clegg. After crashing on the front room floor and sleeping until 9am, we had yummy waffles with choke cherry syrup!! with butter melted in it!!! Can you tell by the exclamation points how good that tasted? I hope so.
Then we went for a hike up the canyon with Joe and Kai. I took Shannon up the "jeep trail." Joe and Kai followed bare foot until we about reached the top. Then they sat down on the road and waited for Shannon and I to climb the rest of the way. The view was spectacular so i had to take some panaromic pictures of my home valley. The weather was great.
We went to the flumes, but the water was too low for shooting. So we headed to Don and Greshen's. What a beautiful home and yard they have. I never can resist exploring around their back yard and looking at all the cool little areas they have---tree house, buildings, sand pit, barbecue pit, storage shed.
Then we drove over to lava hot springs and soaked for an hour before eating some Thai Food (very yummy). After that we headed home.
Yesterday, Jordan and Tyler won their football games. The weather perfect. Shannon took Allyse to the BYU game while me and the boys stayed home for Tyler's game.
That's all for now.
