We have been busy and thanks to Pete for updating on one of our trips this year. It was a lot of fun and such a beautiful place to see. Would love to go back and see and do more. This last week has been quite a special one. We didn't realize it had come up so fast, though. Grant turned twelve this last Thursday and was ordained a Deacon on Sunday. He has a big job ahead of him, as he is the one out of two Deacons in our ward. He had a friend party and the hit was a pop bottle rocket launcher that Don made. They spent hours playing with it. They taped glow sticks to the pop bottles, and played well into the night. Then Saturday afternoon, Don & Reggie took Grant and some friends up to Bloomington Lake, they had a great time and they reported back that there was a lot of college kids there. When Don jumped off the rope swing, they couldn't believe that such an old man was swinging off the rope into such cold water. We are busy with soccer games. Abigail's team out scores every team they play. The last game she played was 17- 0. She said, "Mom, I really tried to let them get a goal." I appreciate her ability to have good sportsmanship. I(Greshen) got coerced into coaching Grant's team again this year. He is doing great and was undefeated until the last game. The teams are all evenly competitive this year. It has been a fun year watching them finally develop and use all the skills they have learned over the years. It is a little more quite around the house since school started, although it picks up after school. Emily is excited to be a Freshman in High School and has adapted well. She is in Soda Pops and she starts her school at 7 am. She is a trooper. They get to go on a Cruise for their tour this year. She is busy doing fundraisers to earn money to do that. Don and I are just trying to stay caught up on everyone and their activities.
