and please take this photo quickly so my friends so see me with a parent
around."

This past week has been a lot of fun. We had Brandon and Ashley here
along with her parents and family. They were bringing Chelsea down to
drop off at BYU. Spencer packed up and left last night. He started a
new job at the Utah Valley Regional hospital in the physical therapy
department and he starts BYU classes next week. Well, it's official.
Jordan broke his thumb on the first game. But, we're moving to switch
his cast to a thumb splint so he can continue to play. I was up until
1am the other night trying to figure out a way to create a Kevlar
splint. The league rules say he can practice with a cast but can't
play...stupid. His team won 32-0 last Saturday and Jordan was holding
back tears on the sideline---being assigned to ball boy duty. Tyler
lost his game 31-37. He played all but 3 plays of the game, scored a
touch down, sacked the quarterback twice, threw for a 30 yard
completion. Jamie is busy back in school today at Davis and says she
really likes her classes. She's a great little driver with the manual
transmission Saab. We're sharing a car this year while Spencer is at
school. Allyse is back in 8th grade practicing her flute again.
