Winder Clegg Family

Hey!,

This is Dan writing for our family. I’m probably the least qualified to write this but the only one that will. A long time has gone by  since our family has written anything. So I will attempt to bring everything up to date on what we have been doing. David has been doing nothing all summer other than golfing, skateboarding and playing videos. I get him to mow the lawn every once in a while or help me the one time I worked in the yard this year. He is now playing football and has to practice every day. Next year he is going to help Kent on the farm. Erin has had about the same schedule as Dave. She went to girls camp and just got back from a (2) week stay in  Idaho. She came back with a new crop of freckles and a smile on her face. I was jealous she got to stay two weeks. Much thanks to Mom and Dan and Kent and Mignon for having her. Hayley has spent the summer reading , going to trek and girls camp. Jill was the camp director and they went to a cabin up by Pinedale reservoir. Jill has had a pretty busy summer. She and I went on trek with Hayley. She also has been working one or two days a week at the golf course. Zan has been playing and squeezing a little time for work in . She went to Lake Powell twice and to New York. Oh that’s right, I forgot to mention that Jill took all the girls to Washington DC and New York for a week and a half. They had a great time. They went to  a Broadway show in New York. They stayed with Krissy Moye, Jill’s roommate from college. My summer has been real busy. I changed employment about 6 months ago. I am now partners in a new company with some guys I have worked with at my old company.   I has been a real challenge staying on top everything . Ben and Zan have both been helping, which has been great.  I have never missed so much sleep in my life. I’m one of those people who can’t turn off my brain at night. Anyway as hard as it has been, I have realized how much the lord is helping us. We have so things that could have gone real bad but ended up as a miracle.  This last week I flew to San Antonio to oversee lift with a big crane. We built the large tank on the ground and then picked up and set it on another tank section. Ben designed and oversaw the large speader bar that hooked on to the tank. I always hate doing these big picks cause all that could go wrong. This one went real good. I attached some pictures.

Well I better go and try to get my 4 hours of sleep before it all starts over tomorrow.

Love Dan
