Steven/Shannon

Hi Everyone;
Another week as we march toward ends of summer. I drove up to the ranch
on Friday evening to drop off Allyse. When we got there it was such a
beautiful evening that dad I sat in the rocking lounge and talked until
dark. Mom came back from her 55 year reunion and we continued to talk.
When I finally got on the four wheeler and went over to Cancun Idaho,
all I could see was two little round heads poking out of the
water---slowing moving back to shore. It was Erin and Allyse. Next
morning I woke up at 5am and Dad talked to me until about 6am. On the
way back to Fruit Heights, I stopped while driving thru the east side of
Preston and took a picture as the sun was coming up. The sprinklers
looked beautiful against the morning sky. Then my throat started to
tighten as I remember my allergy to moving sprinklers. After arriving
home, I grabbed the boys and headed for Larry Miller Speedway in Toole.
A guy in our ward was racing that morning. We missed his race but were
able to walk through the pit crews, see some fantastic cars, meet the
NASCAR drivers, and I let Tyler and Jordan drive the mini race cars. We
headed back around 3pm. Shannon and Spencer headed out for Lake Powell
this morning with Francis family. It's been two years ago that I blew
the engine on my diesel truck trying to reach Lake Powell on the last
Francis reunion. Unfortunately things didn't work out to go this time
either. They'll be gone until Wednesday evening. I'm leaving for Sun's
annual sales meeting in DC until Thursday. Thankfully Jamie is watching
Tyler and Jordan for the next couple of days. That's all for us. We'll
have some more pictures next week.
