Throw-up Throw-up Throw-up Well that was our week. Alyssa had is last weekend, I starteded Tuesday and it rapid fired through the whole family all week. I'm sure this is one time Michael is very gald he isn't around. Kayla bless her heart had to compete on Tuesday night (after staying home all day to tend Andrew while I recovered). She threw-up twice that night once in practice and on the bus. I'm glad people around her helped out and she made it home alright. Cami has been battling a bad sore throat and fever but kept going through it all. The band did great taking first place on their Davis competition and also again on Saturday at the Orem competition. In the band world I've learned that it's not what place you take but the fact you get out there and put on a show and put so much work into it. The kids all clap for each other and I notice the crowds are good to everyone. They are alot of fun to watch. Paisley wrote her first English paper this week and I was surprised how literary she is. Her conclusion was very insightful, well thought out, for someone her age. I coached her a little bit in her writing. If she can get that process down I think she will be quite good. Alyssa started violin this week and I think has a knack for it. However, she ended up with an allergic reaction to the varnish on the violin so we put a towel on her kneck when she practices, go figure?!!! Andrew is the comic relief of the family and keeps us smiling all the time. He wants to be a dump truck for Halloween. I took him to the dinosaur museum this week and he walked around and said "wow", and "thats cool". I could tell he wasn't very interested, so I drove over to BYU (former Deseret Towers) were a large back hoe was emptying dirt into this huge hole. He was enthralled. When I told him it was time to go, he screamed and held onto the security gate till I had to pull him off and put him in the car. I'm sure the students walking by thought I was torturing him. Well that's some of our news and hope you are all doing well.
