Dear Family!
This morning, before coming here to our trusty little internet café, we went and got food for the week. We are so spoiled…our little grocery store is less than a block away. So is our internet. It makes for a more efficient Preparation Day!
I'm so happy you all got to watch conference. We didn't get to see General Conference, but we did have Zone Conference. We, like Hayden, will be watching conference this weekend, Saturday and Sunday. The next weekend will be our Regional Conference, which is again sent from Salt Lake. Hayden, are you in my region? So then, the weekend after that will be our District Conference, which means all of Lithuania will get together. Busy!
I took lots of pictures this last week, and I figure they would be more fun than words. We'll just go through the week.
Last Wednesday: This is me boarding the train to go to Trakai, about 15 minutes after emailing. The next one is me on the bridge to the castle…it was a wonderfully rainy day.
Sunday: This advertisement says "The mountains are already waiting for you"…more or less. Its an add for flights to Sweden. I miss mountains!
Monday: Zone Conference. This is all our Sisters here in Lithuania. I'm standing next to Sister Thomas, my companion. Some of the girls went crazy and died their hairs.
Tuesday: This was a scene that is priceless. These three men were translating conference. They had been working on it for three days. It just made me so happy to see them all in there. And the other one is of our English class. I had to teach Present Perfect last night. Stress!
Well…I must go.
