Then I raced over to the BYU football stadium to catch the Rocky Mountain Band Competition and see Cami and Kayla's band along with Wyatt's. Here's the video:

Wednesday night, one of the fellows at work that owns a sailboat and wants to sell it, asked me if I wanted to go out with him for the last sail of the season. Not much wind but beautiful on the lake and very enjoyable.
That was prelude to the big Utah holiday - UEA. At 5 a.m. on Thursday, my neighbor, friend and work associate Jim picked me up and I journeyed with him and his kids to Zions where we spent three very full days canyoneering in the slot canyons. We rented drysuits with special water shoes and had ropes and packs for rappelling into the canyons and swimming in the frigid waters. Temps were about 50 degrees in the water and no sun so could have been very cold but we made it fine. Thursday we did Pine Creek which was about 4 hours. Friday we did Das Boot which then goes into the Subway (about 10 hours) and then Saturday did Keyhole twice. All were great canyons and each different. One cool rappel was 100 feet in open air into a pool of water. (I'm still working on the video).
Anyway, home Saturday night and then Sunday picked up Mom from Frank's little birthday party and now she is settled in her room here for a few days (or more I hope). Great to talk to many of you this weekend and catch up. Happy Birthday to Frank and Paula and Mignon and Sophie!
