Greetings from Alyssa

My week was very busy.  Tuesday I weighed in my pinewood derby car for the Powder Puff derby car race.  It was for our Activity Day activity. I made a black limousine that weighed .38 oz. On Wednesday, I received notice that I had taken 2nd place in the Reflections contest out of the 3rd through 5th graders. The theme was "WOW" and I made a 3D sculpture out of bake able clay.  It was a bridge titled "Bridge of Imagination".  That same night I had a dress rehearsal for "The Emperors New Clothes" sponsored by my school. I was a guard and had to sing, dance, an act. After play practice, I went to the Pinewood wood derby and didn't do so well but I participated.
Thursday was the actual play and everyone in my family came.  My mom brought me yellow roses, my favorite.  She also taped the whole play.  Afterwards I cried and cried because I'm going to miss the second performance during Thanksgiving break. Friday I was stayed home sick but felt better by evening and played with the neighbors.  Saturday I went to a birthday party for my friend Allyssa Lewis who lives on the Roni's ranch.  I RODE A SHEEP!  I rounded them up into a ball and then I would jump on the outside one and hang on tight to it's wool.  I wish I had a picture.  Saturday night I went to dinner at Aunt Amy's then to Joe's play "The Sound of Music".  I made two friends and shared some chocolate rice krispie bars with them.  My favorite part of the play was the "Goodbye" song when the little girl sings goodnight.  Joe was funny, especially in the Goodbye song when he sang high like a girl. Well till next week  GGGGGGGooooodddddddd  BBBBBBByyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeee.
