Halloween is alive and well in Fruit Heights! Our first trick or
treaters were Frank and Melissa. Gotta get those kids to bed on
schedule so we were excited when they showed up as goldy locks and
the three bears plus a cute little dog Gavin. Jordan and his buddy
Andrew dressed up as Secret Service agents, complete with Bluetooth
head set. They said 98.45% of the houses they visited couldn't
determine what they were dressed as. That's pretty abysmal.
Missionary, IRS, Men in Black, and Blues Brothers were some of the
guesses. Oh well. They came back with enough candy to kill a small
shetland pony. Tyler and his buddy Austin were dressed as African
Americans--or guerillas depending the angle and light. I was busy
mowing my lawn before the rain storm. I was dressed up as a style
challenged, displaced Idaho farm boy. The fashionista that I talked
with said the look is coming back in. actually, i never talked to a
fashionista. But I did talk to Dan. My wife was dressed as a Vogue
model. That's her look and it fits her well. Allyse was dressed as
a ghost. Jamie and her friends had Halloween dance this weekend.
Before going, they came to our house and pulled out some costumes to
dress up. Then Jamie/Hayley and their group dressed as 80s aerobic
exercise people--spandex and head bands everywhere. It was pretty
fun to watch. No word from Spencer this week! And my boss was in
town Mon-Wed. I was taking him around to accounts this week. Then
Shannon and I met him for dinner Tuesday night. We've had the
Canyons condo this week so we've been popping in and out during the
week. We attended church in Kamas last week. Great experience.
That's all because this email is getting too long.
